Hello!

I'm Karen Hirsh, the owner of Perfectly Celebrated, providing wedding day management services (also referred to as day of coordination) and officiating services for weddings and events in the greater Cleveland area.

I'm interrupting this business-like story to get real with you. I know why you're here - you're thinking about your wedding day and wondering how the heck you're going to get all the stuff done that needs done, right? I've been there. I've also been the mother of the bride who had to take care of everything to make sure her daughter's wedding went off without a hitch. Let me tell you, it sucked. The wedding was beautiful, but since I was doing all the "stuff", I didn't get a chance to enjoy it. I don't have much memory of the day because I was running around so much - and I really regret it.

 

I could tell you about my 20 years of experience in event and wedding coordination or my fabulous attention to detail, but I want you to know that the reason I started this company is because I didn't want anyone to have the experience I did. Sure, you can ask your friends and family to help you out on your wedding day, but don't you want them to be able to enjoy the day with you? Oh, and also, I love wedding cake.

ICYMI, I'm also an ordained officiant, registered with the State of Ohio. Fun fact...I saw the episode of Grey's Anatomy where Alex and Jo were getting married on an island, and the officiant got lost, and showed up very late for the wedding. At that moment, I thought that I should be ordained in case of an emergency at a wedding I'm coordinating. (We won' talk about the part when the wedding planner eats a piece of shrimp and goes into anaphylactic shock - in fact, don't watch that episode at all if you're getting married anytime soon).

 

Little did I know how much I'd enjoy marrying two people who are in love. I meet with my couples in person and ask some uncomfortably personal questions - I want to hear about your love story! This helps me write a personalized ceremony that is perfect for you. (Check out my great reviews on FB!)

So, at the end of the day, it's all about you and your person. I want you, your friends, and your family to have a great time without worrying about all the "stuff".
